It's been suggested we should do some new TV Century 21-style newspaper fronts using these for the GACCH website... which we may do at some point.

My brother was into it in the early 90s so we still have a few of the toys and things around somewhere.
So just the usual stuff, nothing rare or anything. Though would love to get copies of the spin-off novelisations.

I have built my collection mostly from that source, although I did buy the 90s merchandise at the time - FOR MY DAUGHTER - you understand?

I lost my TV21s and Lady P comics in the 70s - my father threw them away and kept the stuff he thought 'might be worth something one day' - bad move, Dad!
I suppose my favourite items are my Captain Blues: 2 speaking dollies, one unmade Severns model (I darn't risk ruining him) and my lovely Captain Blue Teddy Bear - which Colonel Chris sent me!

But of my publication collection (and I love all my books, comics etc - it's a Librarian-type thing

I have all three novels. The novelisations are not too bad, but I have read better fan fiction on this site. John Theydon didn't seem to understand or grasp some of the charcters, or perhaps they were written from notes before the series was made or came out.
I agree. Surf Ebay and you can come up with some bargains.

I also have a dentist's promo leaflet for the Captain Scarlet range of toothbrushes produced in the 1990s. Again not particularly prized but a rare oddity...

Excellent

My dad's addicted to ebay so shall get him on to that (he's collecting the model cars from the James Bond movies).

Ugh can imagine, my dad had loads of the original Thunderbirds merchandise as a kid but gave it away. Now he's a total hoarder for that kind of thing.

Oh of course yes
All the CS stuff in our house totally belongs to my brother. I'd never kidnap* the DVD boxset for months on end and make him near grovel to get it back.

Other than that? I've picked up quite a few things on eBay and elsewhere after discovering the series, but perhaps my most prized possessions I didn't buy. They would be the handmade Scarlet and Blue figures, custom-made from Action Man dolls in the late 80s/early 90s, from a fellow fan who sent them to me as a gift without ever meeting me face to face. This kind person also sent me another parcel containing some original 1960s merchandise that "he had duplicates of" and didn't want anything in return other than for me to get well (I was undergoing chemotherapy at the time). I will never forget his name or his kindness.

Unfortunately GI Joe size action dolls had just gone off the market (early 70s, too many real Joes were coming home from Vietnam in boxes) so I had to make do with "Action Jackson" dolls, only 8" tall and not nearly as many outfits or accessories available, but I was able to make a fairly competent Spectrum uniform. This is the only one that has survived, and someone pointed out the doll has seemed to "age" while the puppet did not; "Dorian" Green perhaps?:
Can't see the image. Could you post it again please?
I have to admit. I made my first set of Scarlet figures for exactly the same reason. Hardly anything available.

I see what you mean about aging. Have you read the Doctor Who/Gerry Anderson series pastiche 'The Indestructible Man'? His grey hair fits right in with the description of Green in that book.
