What I have learned from watching Captain Scarlet
Moderators: chrisbishop, Spectrum Strike Force
They can be funny or serious responses.
A couple of things that comes to mind for me is;
Death can no longer necessarily be a career impediment!

You get paid off in fruit for blowing up vehicles!

(Please, someone give Lieutenant Green his coconuts!)

How truly carthic and satisfying explosions can be.
(Hi, my name is Sage, and I'm a pyromaniac.)
Captain Scarlet is indestructible, you are not, remember this and do not imitate him.

Spectrum is green [and occasionally red] ... not multicoloured as popular concensus decrees.
If you want to do something, like say destroy the world, it's probably best to keep the details to yourself. Otherwise your adversaries may succed in stopping you, which would be something of an impediment to your masterplan.
It is possible to find men in silly hats and with odd colour names/uniforms really rather attractive. (and I'm not the only one!)
Episode specific
Don't put all your eggs in one basket, even if he does have retrometabolism [Winged assasin]
Don't drink and fly [Flight to Atlantica]
'It was all a dream' endings are a crime against fiction, and should never ever be imitated [attack on cloudbase]
Flash back episodes are really boring, particually if said flash backs aren't any good to start with. [the inquistion] (actually I learnt that from Thunderbirds, but still)
In light of my penchant for slash...
"You know what makes most things more fun? Putting a gay slant on it. ... Puppet gayness is particularly fun."
(Actually a quote from my friend)
When it comes to subtext (homoerotic or otherwise) nothing is safe from the rabid fangirl

I mean, just how do you spot a small metal medallion lying on the ground and yet miss an Angel Interceptor Jet, even when it is cunningly camouflaged between a couple of trees?

Come to think of it - they must be pretty substantial trees to dwarf an aeroplane as much as these seem to do - given that 'The Angels Interceptors are 60 feet long, have a 35 foot wide wing-span, weigh 35,643 Lbs (15.91 Tons),'

1) in some TV shows if you are wearing red we now your going to die it mite be 2 minutes in to the show" or after the first commercial but your a goner".
but in Spectrum it seems the the guy in red is the only safe one

2) i want to work for Spectrum"

being in the employ of "Spectrum" must be like one of those government or state job's once your in no matter how bad you mess up it's a life time position.
look at "captain black"

he was never replaced "Spectrum" must have one hell of a Union

also like many have pointed out in many other posts you can drive like a maniac'.
blow up any thing from a car to a top secret base"and still have a job when you get back".

and some times the boss will reward you with champagne or fruit

Maybe the Mysterons should take a page out of your book

What if it was reflecting light (into your eyes) or you (I don't mean you Marion, but someone/anyone looking at the pic) were not that bright/clever

The current craze of making gadgets smaller and smaller will be reversed and every computerised gadget will have huge buttons all over it.
In the whole world, there are only about twenty different faces.
