Had a thought for a New Cpt Scarlet Simulator Ride program

You enter the capsule. The screen shows the interior of the Skybase Albatross bay. You are in a Rhino , reversing onto an Albatross's load platform. In front, there is another Albatross loading another Rhino.

"Albatross Two from Albatross One, we are in postion. Rhino crews - standby for drop"

The other Albatross drops through the floor of the bay.

"Albatross Two to Flight Control - drop in 3, 2, 1...."

The craft drops as you fall through the hatch. You freefall for a few seconds, then bump as the forward engines fire. You drop through the clouds until you see the other craft a few hundred feet in front. You bank gently towards the ground. The Albatross nears its destination.

"Rhino crew - prepare for landing" You bump hard as the craft lands. The other Albatross is slightly to the side. The other Rhino disembarks and you follow it out across a valley towards a mountain pass. With the other Rhino in front and kicking up a dust trail, you weave your way through the pass. Watch out - it's rocky! On the radar screen, a blip appears. You exit the pass and into a wider space. You've encountered your quarry - A Drusniyek! It fires a missile at you and your Rhino reverses, firing deterrent missiles. Your ride shakes with the explosion. You wheel around and try to escape to safer ground, while the other Rhino fires at the tank. The tank however, won't let up and has fired another salvo at you and your Rhino bucks and is twisted round as the missile hits home. You're immobile and the tank is bearing down on you as you sit there helpless. The other Rhino fires at the tank in an attempt to stop it but it's having little effect. You have only one working missile. You fire it at the tank's control window and score a direct hit!

"Well done Rhino 2! I'll call back the Albatrosses. Time to go home...."

You exit the simulator with a big grin on your face.... :grin:
