Bit late in the day, but I hope people had a good Christmas Day. We will all be glad to see the end of 2020, but lovely to see a new Story posted on Dec 25th. Well done, Carrie! Best wishes for New Year, everyone.

Thanks, Skybase Girl and Marion - the calendar was a super joint effort by myself, Isabelle and Chris B. I suppose we'll have to start thinking about next year - any suggestions? :grin:

Happy New Year to everyone. Thank you Carrie, Isabelle and Chris B for a really well executed calendar.

Sadly, we don't have a color printer so I can't print it on the photo paper we have around here.

Hopefully, my fan-fic project will get off the ground next year.

Parker, just use the pics as wallpaper for your PC or laptop screen. That's sometimes what I do.

Looking at the 2021 calendar I can certainly appreciate all the work involved, but comparing the two shows the original puppet characters are the clear winners.

The men are more handsome and the women are more beautiful. :grin:

The CGI Angels are a very plain lot.

But there was one pic I didn't like - how Captain Blue (the original) was portrayed. His expression doesn't look natural, he looks very odd.....it's just not him. Back to the drawing board for that one! It’s a pity because Captain Blue is my favourite character. :grin:

Considering l had to make a puppet laugh using no original material and had to resort to painting and doing my best, I think I did a pretty food job.

To each their own, Elantari, there's no need to insult what other people like and I surely didn't need waking up to such vitriol for something that took me days to work on. I find OCS Blue and most of the OCS Angels plain and drab, but I usually keep that to myself because I know other people like them and I did my best to make the pictures where they were represented because I know people like them. The idea to have both series in the same calendar was great because NCS is under represented and we finally got something and we don't complain about the lack of representation (much).

If you don't like it, you can have a go at it next year.

If it was so hard to make the puppet laugh, why didn't you try it with NCS Blue? The caption wasn't that specific.

Vitriolic, was I? LOL Even my elderly very polite and proper mother didn't think so when I read out my post to her. She thought you were over the top about it.

To each their own indeed....and that means I am free to criticise as well as praise....and IMO your version of Captain Blue laughing was NOT good, whether it took you days to do it or not. I might add, when I first saw it I had no idea who drew it. I just did not think it did Blue justice. As for all the characters' looks, the same rule applies - to each their own but that doesn't mean a person can't make a comment. You really have to learn to take criticism....or any comment that doesn't go your way - without flying off the handle about it.

No I won't be adapting characters for next year's calendar. I do have artistic talents but not in that way. My forte re SHQ artwork in the past was in some of the captions.
