Ventriloquism/Role playing

I saw, a few weeks ago, a program on ventriloquism - the program was focused on a ventriloquist called Nina Conti. Later, I saw her on a repeat of QI. And it made me interested in the subject (not quite enough to start up as a ventriloquist and get my own puppet, though).
Today I was thinking about role-playing, and noticed how similar it is to ventriloquism. Although we're typing and not using our voices, there are similarities... It helps if you have an (almost) split personality, whether using an 'own character' or using one of the characters that already exist in the CS universe (Blue etc. not forgetting Scarlet


It's pretty much the same for fan fiction writing too, in a way.
that's madness with a little 'm'... as in 'crazy'...
