Hi there,

As this seems to be the thread for new members to introduce themselves I thought I better post here first. I'm also new to this board (my first post).

I'm 36, grew up in UK, but now living in Hong Kong. I used to love the Gerry Anderson shows growing up as a kid in England in the 70s. My favourites being Captain Scarlet, Thunderbirds, Space 1999 and UFO.

I sort of lost interest in the shows as I grew up, but did buy a few of the DVDs over the past few years.

However, on a recent holiday back to UK I came across the DVD set of the New Captain Scarlet and decided to buy it on a whim.

I have to say I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the CGI, the stories, action and new vehicle designs (love the Rhino). So much so, I even bought myself the Bandai toys and am looking forward to getting the Corgi versions

Can't wait until series 2 is released on DVD and hope further series of NCS get made.

Hello every one,
Like some people on here i also grew up watching Captain scarlet in the UK.
Im 40 years old and my name is Christopher Bishop i come orignaly from Blackbirdleys Oxford and now live in Youngstown Ohio USA.
I have not had the pleasure of watching the new CGI series of CS but from what ive heard about it its on my list of must buy DVDs from Amazon.
Im also after the old series on DVD but im going to have to wait to after the holidays as the ole pockets are empty.
Anyway glad to be a member.
