IMAI Maximum Security Vehicle

On my birthday I was given the IMAI model kit which included a Maximum Security Vehicle and an Angle Interceptor.



As you can see, making the Maximum Security Vehicle wasn't going to be to hard as there were very few components to it.



Colouring it was the main problem. It said in the instructions manual that the kit was meant to be the right colour so no painting was necessary. But when looking at some screen grabs and pictures I noticed that the colour was to blue and dark. So using the paints of Black and White I began mixing them together, in order that I would get a grey.

After I had got the grey sorted and had painted the plastic base I decided to paint the inside of the hub caps knowing they were not just black.



I would have thought the Kit would have come with a red and black line transfer for the sides, but it didn't. So with a steady hand I slowly painted on the lines.

The last stage was to get the Spectrum transfers and sticking them on. Which I must say was a complete success.



I have put the top and the bottom half together and here it is.







And I am currently working on the Angel Interceptor at the moment.
