Gerry Anderson's UFO: The Technical Manual
Moderators: chrisbishop, Spectrum Strike Force
I know I have seen this mentioned somewhere on the site when it was due out in 2006. I placed my order on 23rd July 2007 and it finally arrived today *yay*. It was worth the wait for it to be published, huge A3 book full of pictures and details.

I would recommend it to any Anderson lovers

Now if they could do an up to date one for both Captain Scarlets, life would be perfect........

I do like the UFO series, although it's not one of my favourite series. But I might be writing a crossover very soon, and I was wondering if this one should be added to my list of references books, in that aspect.
I might be in more immediate need of info regarding the Harlington-Straker studio/headquarters. Could that provide that to me? If no, I'll order it right away. If not, it still can wait a bit...

Slightly better is the 1994 Boxtree book, "UFO/SPACE 1999" by Chris Drake, or "THE COMPLETE BOOK OF GERRY ANDERSON'S UFO" by Chris Bentley. Both are available on Amazon UK.

General layout might be interesting, if there is no plans or blueprint available. That is, in fact, what I might need for what I want to do. But if the UFO/Splace 1999 is better, it might be a thought to get that one first.
I think that's in that book that our friend Marion found that other bit of missing bit of information that I needed for my story.

The renditions of the vehicles are lucious in detail and show them from every conceivable angle. A model makers dream come true.
Now we need one for Fireball XL5 and Stingray, and a seperate one for OCS, plus Space 1999.
What I would love to see done in a similar format is an all-series guide to characters and uniforms. I would be in nerd-vana. Even 2 volumes would do: Supermarionation (with NCS) and live action.
