Bob Bell has died

Bob Bell, Supervising Art Director on Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, has died.
He worked with Gerry Anderson for several years before that, and was responsible for many of the magnificently-realistic set designs that featured in series from Four Feather Falls onwards.

Bob's funeral will be at 10:00 on Wednesday 17th June at Amersham Crematorium and afterwards at The Hit Or Miss, Penn Street, Amersham. His family have asked for flowers not be sent but donations will be gratefully received at the Kingfisher Nursing Home, Fieldhead Gardens, Bourne End, Buckinghamshire SL8 5RA

R.I.P. Gerry's shows definitely wouldn't have been the same without Bob Bell's talents.

And he had no proteges to teach his craft to or carry on his style in their own styles, no?
