Got those 'Inquisition Blues'

Can anyone help? I'm going quietly nuts trying to find a piano score for the piano solo played in the restaurant at the beginning of 'Inquisition'. I'm desperate to play the thing myself but have had no joy with all obvious routes thus far...

It's rather hard, as "The Inquistion" doesn't have much substance to the story aside from the flashbacks.....and the fact that it was the final episode....and the most depressing one at that!

I wouldn't have thought it likely that the score would be commercially available. It might be worth getting in touch with Fanderson (email is query{AT}fanderson.org.uk - obviously, replace {AT} with @) and seeing if they have any idea. Ralph Titterton is organising a Barry Gray concert to be held at the Royal Festival Hall in November, so he might have some notion about scores, but I don't have a contact address for Ralph.

It was disappointing wasn't it. Should have ended with 'Attack on Cloudbase'. Likewise NCS - I feel that 'Dominion' would have made a better final episode than 'GreySkulls'. If only GA had made more NCS. One can but dream...

I suspect you're right about the score being unavailable. I did contact Fanderson a while back but as we were having major ISP problems at the time, it's quite possible that the message just didn't get through. I'll chase them up again anyway. As for the Barry Gray concert - oh, anguish! Found out a couple of weeks ago that I can't go and am gutted! I'll try the Ralph Titterton lead though. If all else fails, I may have found someone to transcribe it for me...

There are programs that can do that for you, if you have an mp3 file (actually, mp3s didn't really exist last time I did this, but... *shrug*). I can't remember the name of the program I had for Windows 95, but I know we used on called Cubase at school.

The piano track is Track 19 on the Captain Scarlet Original Soundtrack by Barry Gray. I think its on iTunes.

Thanks for the tip - I already have the OST cd though, hence my fixation with the track.
It's the actual written music score I'm after, so I can play it myself. I'll get there in the end, even if I have to transcribe the whole thing myself! :-D
