My first exposure to Captain Scarlet was in the early '70s, when I was gnawing on my freeze Sicles (R) whenever I could get them.
It was not till the late 1980s and early 1990s, when USA Networks's Sci-Fi Channel featured the indestructible Captain Scarlet in the weekday morning "Sci-Fi Cartoon Quest" and, later, the weekday-and-Saturday morning "Animation Station," that I found my interest in it re-kindled and, by then, was able to probe its more adult aspects with greater interest. For at least part of that, I have to give applause and kudos

And it's paid off handsomely, in the form of two speculative treatises on the Mysterons for the Spectrum Research Centre, at least two fanfic stories, and the promise--or maybe the threat

And if it sounds like I'm blowing my own horn too much, I am sorry. Maybe the Colonel could warn me whenever I need to keep the noise down.

you and i were watching Scarlet at the same time, I also first saw him in the early 70's, i grew up in a 'burb of Phila, btw.
I forgot about him over the years (except a few times when i saw some CS stills at sci fi cons) until I ran across him on YouTube in April and have become completely obsessed, just in case you can't tell.
please, make more noise, i feel less conspicuous when other people post a lot!
