When typing in a record number that starts with K14 and you think "oh my god, this person is a deadly virus" and then have to double check your Bentley SC book to see if that really is the number of the virus - and it is!

When you see a letter combination like CS or DA, you instantly think of a character from the show. I saw a car the other day that had CB on its lisence plate.

At one point I also wondered if it was feasible to have the car repainted in a combination of red and yellow in an attempt to duplicate (as much as it is possible) the tail fins on Fireball XL5.

I found some Spectrum window stickers on ebay that I've contemplated getting and putting in my car window just to see who recognizes it. that and changing my liscence plate to Metcalfe ought to be a clue to any fans.
but i don't think there are any w/in 500 miles....

In my year group, there must be twenty odd Captain scarlet fans. So I'll like to add these to list,

1. Your and friends call each other codenames from the series.

2. Captain Scarlet is the main topic of discussion every break time.

3. You keep checking encase Captain Black barges through the door.

4. You have 20 plus images from Captain scarlet on your mobile.

I wish my parents liked NCS, that way there would be less arguments. You're the lucky one James.

Oh yeah, and remaining on post,

1. You unknowingly doodle the Spectrum logo whilst on the phone.

2. You dream of flying above the clouds in a white interceptor.

3. You just have mention it to someone if they look similar to character from the shows.

4. You ask your parents to get you white boots for your birthday.

Well I must admit we bought a digital set top box just to see NCS and for the first episode we decked out the living room in Scarlet decorations and we all dressed up in designated colours and hats. We then made it a tradition to watch the episodes each week with pizza. Finally, just after the series ended the set top box got burnt out in an electrical storm and they refunded us $30 more than we had paid because it had decreased in price! Man they were good times

Yep, I purchased them whilst on holidays ten hours from here (right near where Elentari lives) a couple of months ago, they cost $169AU which is 79pounds. Very pricey, but the picture quality and sound is absolutely outstanding

It costs slightly more than that here in the UK.

Anyway, that's another point.

Couple other points to add.

1. You talk about the characters as if there are real.

2. You get emotional when you can't find the DVDs.

No matter how stressed you are, watching a favorite episode makes you feel much better.

especially when you watch it with your talking doll next to you, and while drinking coffee from your CS mug that you designed.
