Screen Shots

Whilst going through looking for screen shots of NCS for the Gallery I have come across some 'funnies' and thought I would share them with you:
Spot the Llama at the airfield in Circles of Doom

Greens favourite bedtime reading:

As long as Destiny remembered to press the X button she would be alright

This is the targeting screens for the Falcon in Shapeshifter, look at the wording:

Just goes to show the makers have a sense of humour.........

Green's choice of reading material always makes me laugh.
I'd not noticed the wording in the targeting screens before - very clever.

Rhaps, I started tracking down some of the names and the majority seem to have been on the Scarlet CGI team as opposed to the others! Makes you wonder what else there is we haven't spotted!

I think Marion, she is trying out transcendental meditation whilst reading Milk Float Weekly, hmm, perhaps she knows something we don't! Mysterons pretending to be milkmen, then onto postmen, then the world!!!

I think she would be a match for Ian and Paul and would leave them standing Kambei!!

I can just imagine the fun those CGi-techs had making this stuff,
they obviously knew there would be 'older' fans out there who would get a kick out of spotting them!

Those things look so darned uncomfortable that I think levitation might be the desired state! I have had swimming pool sunbeds that have been a great deal more inviting.
I notice the computer console ( I assume that's what it is ), is common to several of the quarters. It's hard to make out any detail - does it contain a wash basin ?
None of it is very attractive. Maybe the Skybase design team didn't put effort into aesthetics !

I've never been able to capture screen-shots properly off DVDs - all I get is a gaping hole in the middle of the screen where the image ought to be, both with RealPlayer (version 11.1.1) and Windows Media Player (version 11.0.5721.5145) Which viewer are you using, please?

Perhaps the team member who added the artwork to the book that the lieutenant is reading spotted the detail about her being a couple of millimetres above the couch and chose a suitably apt title for it after considering "Fifty-Three More Things to Do in Zero Gravity",
Maybe she needed something to distract her after she threw herself off the wardrobe at the bed and finally managed to miss on her 42nd attempt

Hi Doc!
Sorry for delay in replying, I didn't get an e mail to say comments had been left, oops!
All of my images were captured using KM Player which works brilliantly on anything bar Vista, I recently had to change to Vista and I'm still trying to get it to play on that *mutter mutter*. KM Player is a free dowload and you can choose how many screen shots you want and they are really clear

Have a good weekend!

Power DVD has a button specific for screen grabs. You click it, and then go to the image program of your choice and paste in a new, blank document. I use the very simple Microsoft PhotoEditor for this operation.
I was told that new versions of Power DVD (maybe the one given with hardware?) don't feature this option. Maybe someone can confirm that?

I think there's a 'funny' on the side of one of the trucks in 'Instrument of Destruction' - will try to post a screen grab if I can work out how...

Your memory serves you well, it was at the end of Chiller at the diner, when Xander Story thinks he has got away with it.
This is not a very good cap but this is the truck:
