Original 1967 transmission dates on Tyne Tees TV
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
So what I'm asking is: Does anyone know the dates on which Tyne Tees TV first started showing the series, and what was the date that the series first went out on ITV, and in which region?
(The reason I'm asking is that while I know that the 40th anniversary is coming up, I'd like to watch the DVDs I have of Captain Scarlet starting on the same date as they first went out in 1967, with perhaps the commentary version of the first episode on the 40th anniversary of the first Tyne Tees showing.)

It was 1993 before the show got its first UK network broadcast - 6.00pm Friday 1st October on BBC2.

Nothing to do with SIG or SIR.
IIRC: If I Remember Correctly;
ISTR: I Seem To Remember.
As I recall, Tyne Tees started running the series on a Thursady afternoon at first, then sometime during the run, shifted it to Sunday afternoons. It's just the date it first went out on TTTV that eludes me.

IIRC when I was researching 'Space Patrol' and looking for the 1968 repeats in various regions, i did stumble across a feature (have to look it up in my notebooks) where they actually showed a behind-the-scenes shot from Joe 90! So considering this was around (I think) Dec 1967 or Jan/Feb 1968, this would have been one of the earliest published photos from that series! The feature also indicated that Jeremy Wilkins (Captain Ochre) did the voice of the Mysterons! Whether this was a boo-boo, or indicated that Donald Grey didn't always do the voice, I still don't know...
