Thanks for posting that, Elentari, it is fascinating.
I picked up on Marineville's location too - I just can't imagine it being on the east coast - mostly, I admit, because Marina comes from Pacifica. I understand that 'The Pacific' is only what the 'Terraneans' call that particular ocean, and that Pacifica might be named simply as an indication of the inhabitants' lack of general hostile intentions... but that seems rather too subtle for the children expected to make up the audience!
I'm sure that elsewhere it states that the WP is elected for seven years - or at least that Bandranaik does serve three 7 year terms. We've also discussed elsewhere on the forum, how unlikely it is that the WP is elected by popular election... ( http://spectrum-headquarters.com/v-web/ ... =president )
Of course, the world of CS and the other Anderson shows do not always gel - mostly in respect of the colonisation of other planets and alien participation in World affairs, but that's the joys of the Anderverse! Continuity was not - I fear - their strong suit...

But nevertheless, this is a marvellous source of information! I'll use it when I get stuck in a story. I shall, of course, cherry-pick details, as and when required - but I can't help feeling that is perfectly in keeping with the spirit of the Anderverse anyway.
