CS Reference on Dr Who

I'm surprised nothing has been said on the forum yet (esp from the UK members).

Just watched the latest episode of Dr Who (recorded from an ABC-TV in Oz / BBC simulcast). Great episode - got to love Peter Capaldi as the Doctor - with the Master (aka Missy) and the Cybermen......and it had a couple of GA references!

C'mon people - I can't be the only CS fan (and from far away in Australia no less) who saw it!!!

Yes, I saw it too - on iPlayer anyway - there was an Anderverse reference - which was cool. I also saw Phil Ford on a 'Dr Who Confidential' this weekend and I think he's the same guy as wrote New CS?

I like Peter Capaldi's Doctor - a welcome move away from the slapstick and boy-band atmosphere of the last 2. However, I wish they'd stop recycling old enemies - perhaps they've run out of ideas?

well done Elentari for posting, I had been thinking about doing it as I was watching it, but Real Life put paid to that. Did make me chuckle though in that private joke way, getting one over my daughters. (as they know everything...)

There was another Gerry Anderson reference in an 11th doctor episode, where the doctor introduces himself as 'Captain Troy Handsome of International Rescue' (I think the episode was called 'The Lodger ', I'm going to have to check though). I know its not exactly Captain Scarlet related but it's still Gerry Anderson related.
