What kind of Scarlet story would you most like to see?

I've had several ideas about Scarlet stories. The one I'd most like to see is a crossover with Captain Scarlet and South Park. Unlikely, but it would be very entertaining.

I'd quite like to see more of Grey and Green, seperately or as friends. They seem a bit neglected.

I've always enjoyed stories about shapeshifting, yet I've always hated romance, so I guess what I want to see is a story where at least one of the canon characters undergoes a physical transformation of some kind, but with NO romance and NO pairings.

Ooh...you are so unlike me, Rabid_Kookaburra. I'm addicted to romance (Good that is, not soppy)...
I'd kinda like to see and OCS/NCS cross-over. Imagine...

How will OCS Ochre and Green deal with the fact that they are now women?

Will OCS Blue be appalled that NCS Blue fancies Green, and not the lovely Symphony?

Will anyone be disgusted by there new counterpart, or *gulp* even attracted...

A fist-fight between OCS Scarlet and NCS Scarlet. Who would win?

And many more storylines would surface!! :grin:

Seems to be a fairly even distribution between the women writers who are character-driven and the men who are plot-driven. I realise that's a generalisation, before I get acused of being sexist ! Guess we have our different strengths and weaknesses, so maybe we can learn from each other :?:

I guess mine are plot driven, certainly I think I like a character driven story...might have one somewhere.

Well yes I'd say 'Indigo' is quite character driven.

I personally would say (going by the fanfic archive rather than this thread) that the majority of the stories here are action-adventure with strong charactersation. Which encompasses the work of female & male writers.

Now you mention it I haven't ever written [finished anyway] a story containing a Mysteron threat. There's been some action stories, I've even written about the mysterons; but that particular formula just doesn't really inspire me.
So yes supposed my stories are character based. It's just the way things have panned out, they're very interesting characters.

I'm happy to learn, but ultimatly am going to write what I enjoy and am good at. That and it's quite cool having a niche.

I find action-based stories hard to do - and I do try. I also have to admit that, generally, fitting the Mysterons in is the hardest part for me. Sometimes I can see where they might be involved, other times, they're just a 'plot convention' that needs to be overcome.
I know it is 'Captain Scarlet AND the Mysterons' - and the nature of the enemy means you can have a virtually free hand with what you have them do - and why - but I still find the need to have them in there somewhere a little constraining at times. :oops:

I'm afraid the stories I come up with rarely start with a Mysteron threat, although sometimes they are useful as a reason WHY things are happening.
Then you have the problem of creating a suitable warning. My heart sinks every time I come to write the words: THIS IS THE VOICE OF THE MYSTERONS...

I think I've given up with Mysteron threats for now. Looking back on some, I think they lacked (in terms of mine) lacked...credibility.

I think that the NCS Scarlet would win as he's CGI and has no strings attached (more flexible). But someone else may have a different opinion... any takers?...

Though I do think that a fight between OCS and NCS Destiny would be entertaining for any Destiny-haters out there... as they would probably both end up very injured OR in comas. (>[

Well, if we're going to be literal, OCS could just pull the plug on NCS's computer & the CGI is no more! :grin:

i think the NCS would win because the new one can do martial arts, whilst the OCS cant. So NCS kicks his booty!!
