Valentines day challenge?

Considering the sucess and brilliance of the Christmas and Haloween challenges, why not set one for valentines day too?

It would give all us hopeless romantics a chance to shine. I know there are valentine stories on the site already, so it would good to have everything together.

What do you think, yay or nay?

Officially, there isn't a yearly 'Valentine Day Challenge' - with two big challenges such as Halloween and Christmas preceding Valentine Day, it leaves little time to prepare a new challenge and for people to participate...

However, in the two past years, people have presented stories for Valentine, and I was more than happy to post them on Valentine Day. So I guess you can call it an 'unofficial challenge'.

So Sage, Carrie - or anyone else for that matter - if you have a Valentine Day story to present - or any story for any timely holiday - you just send it along - with sufficient time for me to prepare it for posting - and I'll make sure it'll be posted on Valentine.

As for preparing a 'Valentine Day page' where all those stories will be put together... I'll wait to see if there will be stories presented for Valentine Day and then I'll consider it...

Chris..I take your point ..it IS a bit soon after the Christmas rush to have it as an 'official' challenge....

But, then again, Hallowe'en and Christmas are quite close together too...

That is very true - Halloween and Christmas are very close together - as I have discovered to my cost over the past few years... however, we did have much more notice of the 'official' challenges', (this said smugly 'cause I wrote my Halloween story whilst on my summer holidays this year

). Perhaps, we can have an unofficial challenge this year - and if Chris is willing ('cause she ends up with the hard work!) we can have an offical one next year - when everyone knows its coming?

I like to make life complicated.... :angel)
