"The Identity Of Martin Stewart"

I expect to have my most recent work of fan-fiction, "The Identity Of Martin Stewart," ready for submission to the Colonel and others for beta-reading early in the month of July. It deals with a Mysteron likeness of a human who does not know who he is--and there's a surprise in regard to how he's connected to the Mysterons's target. IF he is.

I'm afraid the story "The Identity Of Martin Stewart" is not yet ready for beta-reading; my system ran down and developed a need for repairs before I could complete it.

My story "The Identity Of Martin Stewart" is still flawed.

The reason it's flawed is the unfortunate fact that I have absolutely NO idea how to make Captain Scarlet suspicious and still keep the characters consistent.

Almost any new idea will do. But bear in mind, Captain Scarlet has never met the official who may be the Mysterons's target prior to the threat posed in the story. What about the official, on first meeting, would creep Captain Scarlet out? That's the missing element, and the one I've failed to provide thus far.
