Yeah always the way, isn't it.
Look forward to reading it, cowboys are always cool.

It's terrible really but the working titles of my fics seem to be the ways I'm planning to tortue someone (usually Scarlet).

Was inspired by the 'cobra picture' so have done that for my end credits challenge story; 'Well that never happened in Genesis' ( see my table for the first draft). The 'near death by snake' scene is in chapter four... enjoy

Also have an in progress fic in which Scarlet suffers at the hands of a chair weilding girl. Am having real fun writing that one.

I try and spread the meanness about a bit. Right now I'm being unpleasant to Captain Ochre and very soon - if I get time to write this weekend - I shall be nasty to Captain Scarlet (again).
Blue might get away scot free this time...

In something I'm working on I'm being downright mean to pretty much everyone but there is an obvious reason to it all.

To me if the story is written well, plausable, and with conviction you can get away with pretty much anything.

I try to be mean, and maybe manage it, but always end up writingsome consoling positive ending. If they get sick they get better, love of their life dies feel the loss but can have moments of happiness again, etc. It's not even deliberate.
I'm a sap really.

I agree with your latter part. A hardness in my stories evaporates for a happy ending or some upbeat ending "they'll live to fight again" and so on. It's quite depressing.

One GOOD thing came out of it though... Scarlet missed Halloween... :wink:

I cycled 32 miles yesterday which isn't much if you're in a car but pedalling virtually non-stop for miles. I was meant to do it for fun but it seemed mean afterwards.
It's a sarcastic thing I guess.

Though they're doing it on orders..."Colonel White's being mean, oh boy!"
