Captain Scarlet and the Nuclear Bomb

Hey guys,

I am planning on writing a story (see title), in it the Mysterons kidnap Lt Green and in a Trinidad beach house, they get Green to build a bomb to destroy Chicago. It is my first CS fanfic.

What do you think of the idea?

Look forward to reading it.. But please, make sure the Mysterons destroy O'Hare airport. I have not very happy memories of that place. Or is it already under their control?

Some stories have taken me years to write! My sister is still working on her first story (Panther), and my brother is struggling with one that he's been working on for at least two years (Storm Force). It just takes time and patience - don't worry about it, it'll come.

I'll second that, Scarlet Lady. Several of my stories lay dormant for a couple of years before they finally found their way to completion and onto the website.
Sometimes, I think the best* ideas need time to percolate through your mind anyway... :wink:

* definition of 'best' in this context = ideas for the stories I got the most satisfaction from writing. :wink:

So very true

I can probably beat that though...
Two of my characters (Fae Donaghue & Pugsley Svenson)were 'born', and the intention was to write a trilogy of novels about Pugsley, with Fae as a key character.
Ten years later they has made cameos in one of my CS fics, and been in a few as yet unfinished/published fragments.
Am working on something with them right now, and will get it finished ... eventually.
