When you 'meet' one of your characters in real life...
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force

I mention it as someone who works in the same building looks exactly how i visualised a character in a story some years ago, and it was quite a jar to see someone you've 'invented' walking around nearby. A kind of backwards deja-vu you might say.
Has this happened to anyone else here?

Today, I saw a guy that looked similar to Captain Black... and I do mean 'similar to' and not 'exactly like'... and, no he didn't speak in a monotonous voice

When I was at college, back in the mid-1980s when 'Captain Scarlet' was getting its first UK airing since the early 1970s, I was waiting in the queue for lunch... and saw this guy standing just ahead of me, another student, with black hair and blue eyes who could have been the spitting image of Captain Scarlet himself - it gave me quite a start!

Which character?
So... we've meet Black & Scarlet... two down and countless more to go...

Two of my friends quite possibly have the personalities of two of the Angels (not sure which ones)... fan fic personalities, I'm not sure about either of the TV series... but they certainly don't look like them!

It's off topic and without risking the wrath of the moderators, it was a chap named James Barkhurst who was my main characters best friend and a bit of a gentlemanly chap...ladies man.
However, on topic I would if I had the money take Rhapsody out to dinner in Mayfair. Hypothetically speaking.

I've seen a guy who looked like Black, he had:

((())) Shades on (don't know what colour)

I did a double take... I am sure he was not (a real-life) Black because in NCS, OCS or Fan Fiction, Captain Black DOES NOT carry shopping bags

I've seen a guy who looked like Black, he had:
A black trenchcoat (at least i think it was a trenchcoat... it was long anyway)
((())) Shades on (don't know what colour)
Brown hair (all he needed to do was dye it black)
I did a double take... I am sure he was not (a real-life) Black because in NCS, OCS or Fan Fiction, Captain Black DOES NOT carry shopping bags
surely, even Black needs to eat sometimes?
