Christmas Challenge 2007
Moderators: chrisbishop, Spectrum Strike Force
Now, it's time for the Christmas Challenge - always following in the footsteps of the Halloween Challenge - and you are also invited to participate to this annual event. It's the 6th consecutive year the Challenge is presented, and more than that, this year also celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons TV series. So, will you participate and celebrate with us, by presenting a fanfic story of your own - or another project that can also be posted on our Christmas Pictures page?
See the page for more details about the rules and conditions of the Christmas Challenge!

Let's hope the festive season brings out the inspiration fairies in droves and we get plenty of new stories to read over the holiday period... after all, there's never anything on TV so we'll all need something to do

Now, where did I put my thinking cap

Oh, and can anyone tell me how to get more than 24 hours out of a day?

Of course, if we won the lottery and could stay at home writing all day, we wouldn't complain !

I'm still working on my epic (27,000 words and counting), so that should hopefully be done on time. I'll probably do a set of drabbles too. Will have to pass on doing pictures though.

Christmas fics are always fun, I'm looking forward to reading everyone elses.

Go Carrie!
I am sort of writing 3 stories at the moment - with luck one of them might even be ready by the deadlines.

Such a shame Feburary is the shortest month, but then there's always August.

Well yes you never know. Virginia Wolfe was right, writers do need a room of their own. Probably without tinsel.

My little 'hideout' is my room

that's madness with a little 'm'... as in 'crazy'...

Best use of the extra day, eh? Isn't there a tradition that the extra day in a leap year is the one time the woman can propose to the man?

I just thought it might be a useful way for all those Angels who are getting tired of waiting to be asked, to bring their man up to the mark...

Scarlet had better make sure he keeps out of Rhapsody's way, for a start...

I've done another valentine fic, posted on my writing journal, more fluffy with a side of cynical than romantic though ...
