Can the Mysterons travel through space?

Wow!! That's incredible stuff!! But I'm still puzzled. Why do the mysterons leave a morjority of the dead human bodies on display, why can't the mysteron agents just hide them away from view, maybe bury them or throw them in a rubbish bin or something.

I don't think they do leave them lying around, as a rule. Scarlet's and Brown's bodies were found (we assume) and (I think) Jason Smith's charred remains were. Major Gravener was found and resuscitated - but I can't think of any other bodies left lying around unless it was a necessary part of the plot to tip Spectrum the wink. Presumably the new Mysteron agents do hide them, in order to complete their missions, but sometimes Spectrum stumbles across them.

Makes sense. I know that in Fire at Rig 15, that explosives guy, jason smith is buried by his mysteron double but in that episode with the virus, the original body of Judy Chapmen was just left by the side of the road.

I suppose it might also have something to do with the mission the Mysteron Agents are on: some of the threats have a short deadline and it's possible the Mysterons expect to have finished before the bodies of their victims are likely to be found.
Often the area the bodies are left are remote, or in some cases, under water.. so the chances of finding those are slight. Perhaps the Mysterons consider the risk an acceptable one?
If they are - as has been suggested - testing mankind rather than really out to get us all - leaving little clues might seem to them a valid prompt?

A bit like rats in a maze then. Scientists leave clues for the rats to provide them a hint like, for example a bit of food pointing in the direction of the Maze exit.

The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that the Mysterons are just toying like an Orca does with a seal.
