Aww...this is such a smashing wee story, Colonel Chris!!! I just loved it. Actually, it combines Christmas AND Valentine's Day, so I reckon you're off the hook for Feb 14th in my book... 
As soon as I read about the collector's shop, I instantly thought of JimsBiz in Reading..however, Jim is nothing like Mr Kemp, being altogether far more courteous. I loved your model box pic..you are SO clever!
