Three more wonderful stories to read on the website!
The second of Caroline Smith's 'Challenge of Five' stories - a real treat for Captain Grey fans. AND a picture too

A new NCS story from Skybase Girl, providing an insight into a couple of important characters.

A short story - start of a series - from MMK - featuring two OCS characters and a few surprises

Check them out! They're all great.

Caroline's fic is wonderful, love that pic too, yummy.

I'll read the other two sometime soon and comment on those two.

Couldn't wait to read them...
Skybase Girl and MMK, absolutely well done, both. I really enjoyed your stories.
Excellent emotional stuff in Souls Apart, a very poignant story, and a super ending. This story is so well written I was actually sympathising with NCS Destiny!!!

MMK, I'm really intrigued as to what's going to happen in part 2 of Reunions. I thought Marion had closed the book on Blue and Symp

I enjoyed all 3 stories - I beta read 2 of them, so that's cheating slightly

Poor old Grey - he's a churning mass of doubts under that cool exterior, isn't he? Not to mention, vain! LOL

Well done on your first submission, MMK! An interesting start which will certainly get me to read chapter 2. (And it's a rare treat to read something that I haven't already seen as a beta...)

There's always the fear that while you think your efforts might be OK, everyone else will think you've missed the mark completely. I did think Souls Apart was too dialogue-driven - still do, I suppose. Hopefully, this won't put people off reading it.
Daresay I will improve as time goes on, assuming I can think of anything else to write ! Before going to bed last night, I had a blinding flash of brilliance for the next one, even down to characters and titles. Yes, even a plot !
Woke up this morning and remembered what I needed to research.... just couldn't remember what for. Knew I should have written it down when I thought about it !

Besides - I don't want to think we'll be deprived of another good story from you, just because you fell asleep!

Skybase Girl, good dialogue is to die for...don't knock it! Honestly, it certainly didn't put me off reading it at all. The dialogue drew me into Destiny and Scarlet's world and kept me there.
Good luck with your newest flash of inspiration...we avidly await the result!!

Maybe she was also responsible for making me think the idea was better than it really was ! Still, will nip down to the library tomorrow in the hope that salient points will come flooding back !

Don't know about the Insiration Fairy, but it was obviously her opposite number, the Fairy of Inebriation, who was responsible for the senior moments of forgetfulness on Thursday morning.
Shpeaking pershonally, I'd say that the Inspiration Fairy and the Inebiration Fairy are conjoined twins... (hic).

Joking aside, I enjoyed all three of the stories and I hope to see more from the three talented authors just as soon as they can get fingers to keyboard!
I am still working on the ghastly 'Wild Justice', but have, unintentionally, been sidetracked into a Halloween story... so I will be looking for expert advice, Carrie, when I have the semblance of a finished story.
This was a complete surprise to me, as I hadn't intended to write a Halloween story this year. I hope there are more inspired people out there, creating scary stories for the rest of us!

Brilliant stuff. The first bit was good, this is better, really strong and emotive. It's obvious from the choice of words that you've taken a lot of care with it. Your empathy with Ochre comes through, too, shows you really care about the character.
Looking forward to seeing if Elaine can make peace with her inner demons on her own, or if she will need help from her friends....!
