VMR likes to explore aspects and characters under a new angle and the results are original stories like this one. We can't help but feel for Pat as he goes through a roller coaster of emotions. Good job! :-;)

I had fun writing it. It's just as well that it came to mind, otherwise there wouldn't have been a story from me this year. As the story that I was going to write didn't want to sort itself out.

I'm sure we all have a story where that's happened. But stick with the idea, you might find it sorts itself out, or maybe morphs into something else!

Oh I will. Poor Chris knows that she is going to be busy with pieces from me. As for the stubborn one, I'm hoping that it will end up as this year's Christmas story.
