Scoring

To vote for your favourite caption, just vote for it in the poll at the top of the page. The poll will be added to the thread by a moderator 1 month after the game started. This means that players have enough time to think of and post their captions.

In the spirit of keeping the games fun and fair, please don't vote for yourself.

You will have two votes for each game, but if there isn't a caption in the thread that you particularly like, don't feel that you have to vote right now - just leave it. Chances are that someone might add something to the thread later on. You can also cast one vote and use the other later.

Players who add a caption after the poll is added will be included in the scoring. You just need to give one of the mods enough time to notice you!

If you played the Caption Game on CSS, you will know that there isn't any way to transfer the results from one forum to another, so we are starting from 0 again. This means that everyone has the chance to vote again. Don't feel that you have to vote for the same caption as before.

The votes will be counted on the first of every month, starting from 1 January 2009, and I will post the link to the results page when I have it.

I can confirm that I have taken the first count today however, due to a small technical error I haven't been able to upload them to the web on a proper page. Since it's the first one, it isn't totally ginormous, so I thought I'd stick it here so that you can see.

Well done to Marion for taking a good lead so early on :-D

I am aware of a potential issue with voting since the migration to the new forum. We're looking into fixing it. I'll let you know.

Clever Colonel Chris appears to have sorted the problem with the polls, so we should be all up and running again. I've also posted an updated version of the scores
