I guess that's why one of my favourite quotes is from 'The Trap' (not an episode I watch much) where Scarlet staggers to the SPV demanding a hoverpack and Blue - always quick on the uptake - says:
You're hurt, Captain; let me go....
You can just sense the exasperation in Scarlet as he explains - yet again - that wouldn't be the smartest thing for Blue to do. I'm sure he values the fact that Blue cares enough to volunteer though.
From Blue's point of view - maybe he's fed up with watching someone else do all the cool stuff?

Yeah, and after all he is his best friend so why wouldn't he want to jump in and have some action! Some times Scarlet can't do everything himself. But then again, Scarlet knows Blues isn't in destructible, so he doesn't want Blue getting injured or worse. Thats why he has to do carry on.
