How on earth does Captain Scarlet know? And did Blue know scarlet knew anyway? In my books that is proof that Scarlet and Rhapsody are in love. I mean come on, information like that don't just slip out in conversation does it?

And what's Scarlet's problem about Manchester anyway?

Actually, it is the kind of information that DOES slip out in conversation...
And Blue knows it too, he's just checking, so it doesn't sound like a secret.
I wouldn't call Manchester 'the place of the angels' either and I have no problem with the city. :wink:

I agree it is cringe-making, but I was just listening to the theme from 'Flash Gordon' by Queen, and there is a section where Freddie Mercury says:
Just a man
With a man's courage

But he can never fail

I wonder if Freddie watched Captain Scarlet ? :lol:

Everyone frequently forgets that Blue often shares the dangers Scarlet ends up in and that he isn't indestructible. (My poor undervalued baby... 0---0

)

I guess that's why one of my favourite quotes is from 'The Trap' (not an episode I watch much) where Scarlet staggers to the SPV demanding a hoverpack and Blue - always quick on the uptake - says:
You're hurt, Captain; let me go....
You can just sense the exasperation in Scarlet as he explains - yet again - that wouldn't be the smartest thing for Blue to do. I'm sure he values the fact that Blue cares enough to volunteer though.
From Blue's point of view - maybe he's fed up with watching someone else do all the cool stuff?
