Who could be the star?
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
My only 'concern' is that he may look a tad young... only a very minor concern, though.

What about that guy who played Superman in Superman Returns, Brandon whatever his surname was.
His full name is Brandon James Routh; his family name rhymes with "mouth."
Unfortunately, I'm afraid I have to disagree with the notion of having HIM wear the good captain's uniform.

He looks too much like he and Matt LeBlanc of Friends: The One With All The Episodes About Central Perk's Crew could be brothers; moreover, he's too swarthy, as far as the photograph shows, for the fair-skinned Captain Scarlet.

Could anyone else imagine George Clooney as Captain Scarlet?
ACK, no, not Clooney! Nothing against his looks, but the man always plays the same character--loquacious, a little humorous. I have nothing against the movies I've seen him in; he did fine, but not as Scarlet!
I'm honestly not sure WHO I think would make a good Scarlet, but not him!
A guy like that, without even any talent? His aunt had talent; even his dad had talent--HE doesn't!

Stick in a cast member with no talent and you're liable to wind up destroying the story.

Besides, a story can be spoilt by more than just the actors: poor plotting, poor dialogue, poor characterisation... and however good an actor may be, s/he's on a hiding to nothing.

Hello there!
I think that the one who would make a very good Captain Scarlet would be the guy from Torchwood John Barrowman.

He's already indestructible too!
Take Care!
