I can offer an M...from NCS too, so how's that for amazing?
Mabra 740 - from the episode 'Proteus'. Don't ask me what it is (although I suspect it is a computer) because I noted it down some time ago and I've forgotten.

Obdurate. I am sure that, if he didn't actually use that word, he meant it; the dear Captain can be so 'pigheaded' sometimes.

Seriously sneaky, Marion!
Returning to your Q post - you could also have said "Quaint traditions, Colonel White's Album of". This is from the first John Theydon novel. Scarlet is just about to go on leave, and visits the Control Rookm to "bid the Old Man a loving farewell"

As a young Londoner, reading that, I felt vaguely insulted...

Wombat bomber - according to the 1968 annual, the WAAF uses them....
That amuses me simply because I never think of wombats as dangerous - maybe someone could enlighten me if I am wrong?

Round 41
Aqua-Lung diving gear - Captain Grey is working on a miniturised version, ideal for puppets, no doubt.

Oops, Hazel - we've had 'Your Point being' in Round 33.... anybody got another Y?
Then on to the next round anyway?
