Returning to your Q post - you could also have said "Quaint traditions, Colonel White's Album of". This is from the first John Theydon novel. Scarlet is just about to go on leave, and visits the Control Rookm to "bid the Old Man a loving farewell" :roll:

He promises to send White a postcard of the Changing of the Guard, and White says: "Do that! I'll file it in my album of quaint traditions!"
As a young Londoner, reading that, I felt vaguely insulted...
