Who could be the star?

This gentleman is Mr Wayne Maunder, who played Scott Lancer in the western TV drama 'Lancer' in the late 1960s. I think he would make a good Captain Blue.

The character, Scott Lancer, came from Boston and went to live on a ranch in California, with his estranged father and younger brother, who was an outlaw/gunslinger. I remember being taken with the show and with the handsome lead actors too... one fair and one dark.
Must have been a trend back then. :wink:

This is a gentleman called William Campbell, who played Trelane, the Squire of Gothos, in a Star Trek episode in 1967. I nominate him as a potential 'Captain Magenta'.

I am sorry to hear that, but I thought we agreed that age and - therefore, by extension - vital signs didn't actually matter? After all, they can reanimate film stars through CGI these days. :wink:

I consider the thread is more like a 'looks-like' game than an actual 'casting' list and this picture reminded me of Captain Magenta, particularly in some of the Halloween Party pictures, from the website, where he is 'dressed' in Regency/Victorian finery...

This chap is my NCS Captain Grey. His name is Richard Armitage and he played Guy of Gisborne in the last production of "Robin Hood", as well as playing a spy in the long-running series "Spooks." He most recently played a soldier in the Sky 1 series "Strike Back". I did think he was Scottish, but apparently he's not. I'm quite sure he could manage a Scottish accent for Grey, though!

Haven't been in this thread for a while, although I've enjoyed the suggestions as they keep coming!

My nomination for OCS Captain Magenta, Patrick Dempsey (of Grey's Anatomy) ..they share the same first name and bouffant and he's SO much better eye-candy than the Squire of Gothos...(sorry William!)

Me and my motorsport mates reckon Mark Webber might look good as NCS Captain Scarlet, but I'd seriously laugh if I saw a photo manip of Fernando Alonso as Captain Scarlet. Afterall, they're both men in red uniform.
