UPDATES: March and April 2011
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
This week, we mainly have MERCHANDISING updates.
First a new page: Captain Scarlet - Miscellaneous Items, which will serve to list these odds items that we are not quite sure where to put! And to inaugurate the pages, we already have a couple of items added.

Second: DVDs and Books have been added to the Other and Various Items page for Non-Scarlet Items. Although not exactly new, you will agree with me that it was about time that these items were mentioned somewhere!

In regard of merchandises, if you see some Captain Scarlet items that are sold online which are missing from these pages , please contact us and tell us about it. We'll examine every suggestion, and see if indeed they should be added to our pages.
Come back soon for more!

As some of you may already know, this page was set up a couple of years back to help and provide tools to Fan Fiction writers in general - and Captain Scarlet Fan Fiction writers in particular. Sadly, apart for a handful of documents, this page became somehow neglected and we had not added to it since its launch.
Now, we're correcting this oversight. During the course of last week, I went through the pages of this forum and through my computer files for some documents saved from earlier version of forums and related sites, such as a dead MSN Group that we once owned.
All files and suggested links for writing tools have been now put together, and are now part of the Tools and Documents page, which has been divided in seven distinct categories, making these documents easier to browse through.
Of course, the Submission guidelines holds the place of honour at the top of the page, so it'll be easy to locate it. For the rest, if you're a writer or a budding writer - I suggest to make a little trip to the page, and you might find some interesting - and often fun! - information!
Enjoy!

That's not to say that we have not worked during this time! New things are being prepared and will be offered to you in the coming months.
In the meantime, while you are waiting, we will continue to give you, as regularly as we can, a few little goodies:
In FAN FICTION, an essay that had been previously posted on the "Red Alert" webiste - "The 2001 Connection", by Mike Adamson is now offered to you on this website.

Also, our SID DATABASE section for Fan Fiction which is not Captain Scarlet, has been revitalized, with a new design and a new direction. If you don't know about SID DATABASE, you might want to check it out.

And on the LINKS page, the link to the "Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons Bubble Gum Cards" website has been refreshed.

The link at the top of the Links page sends you to the proper link below, with the logo. Is that the one you're talking about? That one seems to work too.

My humblest apologies, Scarlet Lady!
I checked the link again... It seemed the IMAGE LINK (Red text on white background) had the correct link - but NOT the TEXT LINK beside it! That was the old link!
I corrected the problem, and now the links on the page should be all right.
To make amends, I'm posting HERE, the correct link for all of you to access:
http://www.captainscarletcards.co.uk/
By the way, Scarlet Lady - can I post the link to your new website now? Or is your old one still the "official one"?
Contact me about it, please!

Please, feel free to post your link here, until I'll actually go back to the Links page and updated it there. Seems I forgot to do it last time

By the way, are your stories stored on your old website still available? The links I have on my fanfic page will take visitors directly to these page. If there are some changes, I would like to know about them, so I will update these links as well. Again, you are also free to post the links over here, until I make the proper corrections.
Got a look at your new website and I must say it looks very good so far!

The new URL is:http://www.captainscarletspectrum.com/. I have a lot planned for it, but haven't had much time of late - I just returned from a week's furlough in North Yorkshire. Once everything is back to normal, I'll crack on once more.
Regarding my stories... well, they were written rather a long time ago and I've been trying to update them. I have made a small start on Lady in Red and my sister has kindly submitted some of her work so that the hub page doesn't look so sparse. The fan fiction hub page is: http://www.captainscarletspectrum.com/fan-fic/hub.html. I'll let you know when I have more on offer, if you'd like.
