X-Rays versus MRI scans

In "Chance For A Lifetime," Mary J. Rudy makes the point that Roentgen radiation, or X-rays, are all but obsolete. That would account for Richard Conway and Stephen J. Mattick, in "Operation Time," limiting the use of X-rays to someone like the original Dr. Theodore Magnus.

My own Mysteron Reversal Of Matter corroborates this.

As I recall, I think this was a topic we once covered a while back. :wink:

MRIs (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is totally different from conventional X-rays. MRIs utilize powerful electromagnetic fields, which produce a multi-dimensional computer image. The subject is placed in between the magnetic field and the magneto waves pass harmlessly through the body.

IMHO, even a Mysteronized person would have just the same image as would a regular human, so long as he/she doesn't come in direct contact with the powerful magnets. However, MRI machines have adequate shielding to prevent this.

They could, possibly...if Dr. Fawn uses them with Captain Scarlet, then he has to be even more careful with them now than he did before.

Could the Mysterons use that against Scarlet maybe, y'know kidnap him then kill him that way. Would sure blow a hole in Spectrum.
