All in all, I felt it was a very effective series closer, with a nice bit of ambiguity at the end - which faction of the Mysterons now has Black? Is the war over? .
That's exactly what I was wondering.
Great ending, leaves the imagination running wild!

Now that is a horrible thought. If it takes 30 years, I'll be 63! I'm off to cry in a corner for a while

And you're worried? I'll be approaching 80 if I haven't been eliminated by the Mysterons by then

Mind you, I might have become reconciled to Badly-Drawn Blue by then... he does have the odd flash of 'humanity' in him...

Couldn't agree more. I think that one thing amny people forget is that most remakes or new takes on old series are not made for the fans. They are made as commercial ventures.
Still, as I said on another thread, just think of all the fun some people are going to have over the next 30 years agonising over the lack of new episodes, even though they did not like NCS. And all the fun they will have whining about the new series because it is not as good as OCS or NCS, mainly because they changed the characters again. To be honest, I would love to see some statistics about how many of the kids watching NCS have even seen the original.

Well, when I'm older and rich enough, I'll remake the show. Using the original as a template as opposed to this lame updating
If I may adopt my best cheerleading pose and in support of the minority view chant loudly:
"Go Mikie go! go Mikie go! Whoo-Hoo!"

In all likelihood, it would be....which is why I adopted only the pose and not the uniform and pom-poms. But how do you KNOW?

I'd kinda built up a picture of what you might be like, knowing you're of a certain age, and based on your postings. And when animated by your description, plus the uniform and pom-poms...

Damn... I really should get out more...

But coulda been worse... coulda been me...
