New Japanese Captain Scarlet book due September

Can't tell if it's the new CGI or classic series yet. Probably the latter given that new Scarlet hasn't aired in Japan yet.

Just got it. It's classic Scarlet, Joe 90 and Secret Service. Has some interesting photos not seen before- characters, behind the scenes and vehicles/aircraft from all three series. Particularly like several detailed photos of the Mig-242 from Joe 90 which was made from the Angel interceptors.

My copy arrived today, tis a rather nice book.

Two things...

1) Who's that guy trying to pass himself off as Captain Brown on page 21?

2) The picture at the bottom of page 23...could that be a deleted scene from Flight to Atlantica?

This kinda looks like Brown's dad might look...I don't recognise the puppet at all...

I've not checked, but aren't Harmony and Rhapsody the two angels who don't go out joyriding in Atlantica? Rhapsody is also wearing the same outfit she wore to the party...

This is the most likely candidate of the three 'baddies' from Heart of New York' - I don't think it is the same puppet...

Don't think it's a deleted shot. The info I have from Century 21 Publishing art editor and part-time photographer Roger Perry, is that they would take photos as a shot is being set up, or just after filming was completed. So it would seem the puppets are in the process of being placed, or are just about to be moved - hence the slight differerence.

There are others that are specially posed however.

There is that publicity shot of White and Scarlet in front of the Amber Room doors...but this picture seems really specific. One thing you can't see from that scan is that Rhapsody's eyes are closed.

Would be safe to assume that that photo was taking around the time that Operation Time was made (because those two appeared together as the medical students)?

Does seem a little odd though...why go to so much trouble setting up the shot again (even at the same angle) and then just getting the wrong puppets...
