puppets

Can Gerry tell me if he ever created three puppets. These are Dean Martin, Dolly Parton and Barry Manilow. I am in receipt of these puppets, and when purchased, was informed Gerry created the heads. The puppets are string, and fully clothed and approximately 4 feet tall.

I'm not an expert, and maybe, someone else should help us out here, but it doesn't appear to me that either Dolly Parton nor Barry Manilow were created for any of the Supermarionation shows. The dates don't sound right. Only Dean Martin was really popular at the time, and even then, I would be sceptical. Those puppets might have been sculpted 'in the spirit' of the Supermarionation puppets - maybe for a one shot production, like the Dire Straits video some years back, or for the Team America movie?

On another point: Gerry NEVER sculpted puppets himself. It was all done by artists and technicians working for him.

If someone can help us more, he's welcomed to answer this question. And Sarah, maybe you should try contacting Fanderson with this issue. They might be able to answer you.
