Anyhow my guess is the official numbers of all DVD sales will be out next week.

Pick a number, any number, from Amazon's randomarankometer(tm)..... surely not!
We've watched some of the discs' contents. I'd have to say that it's a shame that there wasn't a bit more background information or any interviews. I'm hoping that these will be included on the series 2 boxset. PLEASE!!!!
Which of you artists got your face on screen during the production tour? It'd be nice to put names to faces!
One thing's for sure - NCS in DD5.1 - fantastic!

Absolutely couldn't agree more. It made a huge difference to the quality of the sound on the couple of episodes I just watched - I could feel the vibrations!! And not having a break in the middle makes such a difference to the atmosphere of the episodes.

I also noticed that not all the CITV trailers are on there - there are at least two missing. Hardly something to lose any sleep over, but I just thought I'd mention it...

The first one in that compilation was - I actually taped it - but it was for the Saturday premiere. The ones on the DVD are all for the Tuesday repeats...

I couldn't have written a better one myself (no, really ). Nice screen captures - they really show up the amount of detail that's going on in each scene.

Oh, meiow! They didn't like the Thunderbirds film, did they?
On the other hand, they seem to have enjoyed NCS.

How wonderful to hear such glowing praise from outside the fan community!!
I was quite surprised to note that in the latest issue of SFX they had a couple of features on NCS (one on redesigning the hardware and one on the new toys), yet at the front of the mag they had a big feature on all the new or imminent British sci fi shows, but NCS didn't even get a mention! Plus no reviews of either the current screenings or the DVD!
I suppose the way things are going we should be grateful for any coverage, but it felt like a bit of a slap in the face to me!

The classic CS DVD is better packaged with more exciting menus, but great to see some of the episodes I missed and also interesting to see how the CGI has come on in leaps and bounds.
