I was doing a trawl on Amazon, and this came up in my recommendations:

No details on it yet, or a publishing date. I assume that it will be coming out . It is from the same publishers that brought us the recent TV21 reprint graphics. Nothing on their website yet, either

Play.com have put a publication date of 1st September 2009 on their page.
The publishers look as if they might carry on bringing out GA books which would be awesome :-D

Always being anxious to encourage production of Anderson-related stuff, I've placed an order. Meh... I can wait until September.

I am going to hold off on ordering and wait to see how much Waterstones or Borders have it for. They sometimes do deals even just after annuals are published.

I have to admit that this does have me hopeful for more reprint albums. The more the better.

WEll, Amazon had it for publication on August 1st 2009, then back to Spetember 30th. That did not bode well in my mind, especially after the fiasco with NCS merchandise. Had another check recently and here are the results:

Play.com: Usually dispatched within 6-8 weeks

Amazon: Reynolds & Hearn Ltd (31 Aug 2010)

Waterstones: 327 days until publication Published 31/08/2010

Borders: September 30th 2009 by Reynolds & Hearn Ltd

Right folks, got some news. One lot is bad, the other is good. I emailed Reynolds and Hearn Ltd about teh annual this morning. Just got a reply from them:

Dear Mr Mason

We have cancelled this project for 2009, due to the poor level of interest in the book trade. I am afraid that it is next to impossible to make corrections to information displayed on Amazon, which is why so much information on that website is unreliable.
We have kept the book alive as a possble Autumn 2010 release/2011 Annual, should the level of interest pick up.
I am sorry if this is a disappointment to your members, but we must - as a business - respond to demand in the marketplace.
We will, howver, be publishing volume 3 of the Century 21 reprint series in November of this year.

Good of them to get back to me so quickly. Pity about the annual. I was looking forward to seeing it. At least Volume 3 of teh reprints is still on track.
