- Right click on the picture, open the properties box and highlight the 'address (URL)'. Copy it.
- Write your message in the window. When it's time to introduce your picture, just paste the address you copied earlier.
- Then highlight the address you just pasted. Click the 'Img' button you see on the tags menu just above the window where you wrote the message. The code for the image to appear will embeddled itself into the image address. That will look like this:

You'll note that address on MSN Groups for a picture are VERY LARGE, and are using a lot of numbers.
A note for everyone: Make sure you're using a website you personally own or that you are a member of a website group (such as MSN) before copying any picture from it. The described above way to copy a picture on the forum put A DIRECT LINK to an outside website - it means that you are using the bandwidth of that outside website, without permission from the owner (who generally has to pay for it). Some owner are not too keen to outsiders doing that, because it COULD mean, if the bandwidth isn't high enough, that his site will go offline for a few hours, if too many people do that.
Better to put the picture on your own site directory or to use the MSN Group Archives instead.

What have I done wrong this time?
Ah-ha, I have just logged into my MSN - where I had the picture stored and NOW the picture is back on the thread! Does this mean that it will only be visible when I am on-line? Would I be better putting it on the old MSN forum or does that do the same thing too?
It must be part of a cunning ploy by Mr Gates to dominate the World...

Since Marion has a private MSN group site, I suggested to her to use the copy of her photo as it appeared on the photo album page (where they all appear as slides). That copy wasn't secured, so it was available to show.
Devon, I think you have a similar problem with your avatar. It seems to appear only when you're online. Maybe you should check if its address is correct and if it's not secured?
