Chris - is it possible to list the most recent postings in order from the latest one backwards, regardless of which section they appeared in? It's only a tiny thing, but I found it a very useful feature in the original forum for seeing at a glance who's dropped in recently and what they've said, and I can't see any way to produce the same summary here. (I've found "View posts since last visit", which is certainly helpful, but not quite as useful as the other, since presumably the list is revised each time I visit.)

Yes, I miss that option too.... however, this forum is MUCH better that MSN

There's something similar, but I have to agree, it's a little misplaced!

Look under the last message, under each thread window. Just over the 'new topic' and 'reply topic' buttons, into the grey box. You'll see a message saying: "Display posts from previous" – with a drop down menu offering 'all post', '1 day', '7 days', '2 weeks', '1 month', etc… And another drop down menu with the options 'oldest first', or 'newest first'.

I'll check into the phpBB technical forum if it is possible to move that menu at the bottom of the index page (if that's what you're looking for). But I can't make no guarantee that I'll actually be able to do it. I prefer to lose one option than to mess up with the html source...
