TIP: How to insert a picture into a topic?

First: find the 'url address' of the pic you want to insert. You do that by right-clicking on the picture, and then click "Properties" from the menu. Copy the url address.

Secondly:
On this forum, when you write a message, click the "Img" button. You'll have coding which looks like this:

[ img ] [ /img ]

I put spaces so that youl'll actually see the coding.

Thirdly: between the closing bracket of the first code and the opening bracket of the second code, paste your url address.

There you have it!

But what if the picture does not have an 'url address' (I could find one, even looking under "Properties") as it was 'made' on one's computer. Do I need to put it on another site to get one or is there another way?

If you upload it on the SHQ Gallery site, it gains an URL. Before that existed, I used to use Photobucket.
