Fireball XL5 in Colour

For anyone who hasn't seen this yet, do check out the Fireball XL5 launch sequence in the following link on YouTube:

Isn't it just fabulous? (And if you're shaking your head thinking that you're sure you used to watch it just like this when it was first broadcast, do a little mental arithmetic and work out when your parents bought their first colour TV set!)

It just goes to show how good Fireball would look colourised.
Gone are the days when skintones were a shade of beetroot and rather over-coloured clothes wouldn't have looked out of place as clown suits, no matter what the style.
Pity there isn't the money for the project.

Fantastic. Just sublime. I would love to see the episodes colourised. The colours work really well.
