"Where have I seen that before?"

Quite often, you'll see something that appeared in a previous episode......or even for that matter, a previous Supermarionation series. What are some of the things you've seen, that have appeared somewhere else? (This can be any Supermarionation series, BTW)

And there are many, many examples! :wink:

For example, the song on the radio in Captain Blue & Ochre's plane in "Flight To Atlantica", was "Dangerous Game". This song was also featured in Thunderbird's "The Cham-Cham".

The fire tenders and rescue vehicles at 'Geneva' airport in 'Flight 104' are stock footage from 'Thunderbirds' too... or so the book says :wink:

Not to mention the music that accompanies Judy Chapman's murder of the guard and stealing of the dangerous formula in 'Place of the Angels' - that's from 'Stingray'! (Jolly good it is too - I think the music in the original series has a lot to do with making it so good - even the drumbeats seem to set a tone of excitment and danger

In Thunderbirds, the control panel in the Anderbad Tunnel ("The Perils of Penelope") was also the control panel in the Marineville control tower. :wink:

A section of Marineville's control tower was also part of the London Heliport, in "Vault Of Death"

One book said the computer panels in the bunker in the story about the unitron tank were used for the control room in the UFO stories.

The main components inside the Spectrum Detector Van were also seen in the Martian Excursion Vehicle.

The interior of Black Rock Laboratory....including the main control panel, was also used in the Control Tower at Space City HQ. :wink:

The engine room from Skyship One (Thunderbird Six) was also the control room from Eskimo Station (Noose of Ice)

In "Treble Cross", the warehouse building where Captain Black had his "Light boom" truck, was later an airstrip hangar in Thunderbird 6.

The hunting lodge (a.k.a. the SIA base) in "Spectrum Strikes Back", is also the remote ranch house in "Special Assignment".....despite the radical difference in interior decor.

BTW, where is everybody? It's been rather quiet around here, lately!......almost too quiet!!

In 'The Launching', the twin-PA speaker poles from Marineville, make a brief appearance as sirens at the shipyard where the President Roberts is docked.

The "No honestly it's not technically a bomb..." truck from "Big Ben Strikes Again" is seen again in "Expo 2068" and I think it makes cameos in a couple of other episodes of Captain Scarlet as well. It might also have been in Joe 90 but I'm not sure.

Spectrum's Yellow Fox Tanker appeared with a red paint job in the Thunderbirds episode "Path of Destruction"...and I think the Gray & Houseman Road Construction company must have been collaborating with International Rescue because their explosives truck looks rather like IR's transmitter truck from "Sun Probe", albeit painted red and without the big dish on the back.

The Yellow Fox was a re-painted/re-dressed model from Thunderbirds.
The Big Ben Transporter later appeared in Joe 90 (Hi-jacked).
As for the IR3 Transmitter truck; Century 21 Sources version was that it was a commercially-available vehicle that Brains Modified (don't forget that Jeff had all sorts of business interests, so it would have been easy for him to acquire the basic vehicle in the same way that Ambulances are modified from standard LGVs

The cockpit of the plane in Flight 104 is that of the MEV.
