Rhapsody was determined not to be outdone by Symphony and Destiny, but was
at a loss which couple she and Scarlet could pose for as their final
photo. Scarlet was trying on Grey’s moustache, and he looked so dark and
dashing she knew exactly who they could be.
“Everyone’s heading off to the drinks and canapés, and I’m starving,”
Scarlet grumbled again, as she pulled him away from the others to rummage
through another box of costumes.
“No,” Rhapsody replied firmly. “Not until I get a picture of us together
as Rhett and Scarlett.”
“But they’ve been done already!”
“Aha, but I found two different costumes, and although the red will clash
with my hair, it can’t be helped,” she explained.
“For a moment there, I thought Ochre had put you up to something and you
were planning to get me play Scarlet in drag…”
“Don’t be ridiculous!” She handed him the smart dark jacket. “Go on, do
this for me, then I’ll be equal with Juliette.”
Scarlet raised an eyebrow, which made his moustache wiggle.
“Don’t tell me you girls are having a competition? Aren’t two pictures –
one of you and me, and one of me and you - enough for you?”
Rhapsody smiled sweetly. “I like having the last word.”
Scarlet groaned and relented. “Don’t I just know it?”
And he posed one final time for the camera.
